Recipe for Making Organic Lip Balm

Suitable Mixing Container

Select a glass bowl for creating your lip balm. If a glass bowl is not available, a stainless steel bowl can also be used. As for the storage of the finished balm, you can opt for glass jar.

Begin by Melting Beeswax

Start by melting 20 Grams of Beeswax in a double boiler. To do this, heat a pot of water and place a heat-resistant vessel containing the Beeswax on top. Allow the Beeswax to gently melt.

Incorporate Cocoa and Shea Butter

Cocoa and Shea Butter: Next, add 5 grams of Cocoa Butter and 15 grams of Shea Butter to the melted Beeswax. Stir thoroughly to ensure proper blending.

Nourishing Carrier Oils

Enhance the lip balm's protective and moisturizing qualities by adding 10 Ml of Castor Oil, 2 ml of Jojoba Oil, 5 Ml of Almond Oil, and 30 ml of Soya Oil. To extend the shelf life of the lip balm, include 15 Grams of Petroleum Jelly.

Desired Flavor Oil:

Once the mixture is well combined, introduce 3-4 drops of Vitamin E Oil using a spatula to thoroughly mix it in. Since the mixture is still warm, you can then add 2-3 drops of your preferred flavor oil, such as Bubblegum or Watermelon Flavor Oil, for a delightful aroma.

Allow Lip Balm to Set

For the final step, set the mixing container aside for some time to allow the lip balm to solidify. If you prefer a faster setting process, place the container in the refrigerator and seal it with a lid.
