Instructions

1. Prep & Sanitize: Thoroughly sanitize your silicone soap mold spatulas and heat-safe glass bowl with rubbing alcohol. Allow them to air dry completely.
2. Melt the Base: Cut 500g of Transparent Melt & Pour Soap Base into small uniform cubes. Place them in your heat-safe bowl and gently melt using a double boiler or in the microwave using short 30-second bursts until completely fluid and clear.
3. Supercharge with Glycerin: Remove the melted base from the heat. Gently stir in 1 tablespoon of Vegetable Glycerin (99.7% Grade) and 1/2 teaspoon of Sweet Almond Oil. This mimics the iconic '98% pure glycerin' feel and ensures the bar is extremely gentle and non-drying.
4. Color & Scent: Add just 1 or 2 drops of a golden-amber liquid soap dye to achieve that classic translucent glow. Add 10 drops of a fresh herbal fragrance or essential oil blend (like Rosemary and Sweet Orange). Stir very slowly to incorporate without creating bubbles.
5. Pour & Set: Carefully pour the liquid soap into your silicone mold cavities. Immediately spritz the top generously with rubbing alcohol to instantly pop any surface bubbles. Allow the soaps to cool and harden undisturbed for 2 to 3 hours. Once fully set pop them out wrap them tightly in shrink wrap to preserve their glass-like clarity and they are ready for retail!

Notes

Safety Warning: Never allow the melt-and-pour base to boil! Boiling will create a cloudy appearance and ruin the glass-like transparency of the final bar.
