  • Time: 2+ hours
  • Yield: 6 bars of soap

Ingredients

  • Water 200 ml
  • Saffron Strands (Optional)

Equipment & Tools

  • Microwave

Instructions

  1. Prep the Soap Base: Cut the melt-and-pour soap base into small, uniform cubes
  2. Place the cubes in a double boiler or a microwave-safe bowl. Heat until completely melted, ensuring you do not overheat or boil the base
  3. Saffron Prep: Mix 1 tablespoon of Saffron Fragrance Oil with 100ml of warm water. If you are using saffron strands, Soak them in 1 tablespoon of warm water or milk for 10 minutes to release the color and essence
  4. Combine it all: Gently stir the saffron infusion (liquid and strands) into the melted soap base using a spoon or spatula.
  5. Mix in the carrier oil, essential/fragrance oils, and natural colorant if you are using them. Stir slowly to avoid creating excess air bubbles.
  6. Molding & Finishing: Pour the mixture into your soap molds.
  7. Spray the surface lightly with rubbing alcohol to remove any surface bubbles.
  8. Allow the soap to sit undisturbed for 2–3 hours. Once fully hardened, pop the bars out of the molds.
