Instructions

1. Prep & Sanitize: Thoroughly sanitize your silicone soap molds small beaker spatulas and heat-safe glass bowl with rubbing alcohol. Allow them to air dry completely.
2. Melt the Base: Cut 500g of Goat Milk Soap Base into small uniform cubes. Place them in your heat-safe bowl and gently melt using a double boiler or in the microwave using short 30-second bursts until completely fluid.
3. Dissolve the Actives: In your small beaker dissolve 10g of Kojic Acid powder in a small splash of warm distilled water. Stir vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved and the liquid is completely clear.
4. Combine & Scent: Remove the melted soap base from the heat. Slowly pour in your dissolved Kojic Acid solution. Add 10 to 15 drops of Sweet Orange Essential Oil for a brightening boost and fresh scent. Stir gently to incorporate without creating excess air bubbles.
5. Pour & Set: Carefully pour the liquid soap into your silicone mold cavities. Immediately spritz the top generously with rubbing alcohol to instantly pop any surface bubbles. Allow the soaps to cool and harden undisturbed for 2 to 3 hours. Once fully set pop them out wrap them tightly in shrink wrap to prevent glycerin dew and your clinical-grade brightening soaps are ready for retail!

Safety Warning: Skin-brightening actives like Kojic Acid can increase sun sensitivity! Recommend that your customers use sunscreen daily.

Pro Tip: Always dissolve Kojic Acid powder in a tiny splash of warm distilled water or liquid glycerin before adding it to your melted soap base. If you add the powder directly it will clump and create an unappealing gritty texture.
