  • Sugar - 456 grams
  • Whipped soap base - 454 grams
  • Yummy fragrance oil - 46 grams
  • Soap colorant - 2 drops


  • Scale
  • Sugar
  • Bowls
  • Spoon
  • Spatula
  • Hand held mixer
  • Deep mixing bowl
  • Gloves
  • Jar


  1. Protect your hands with gloves.
  2. With the help of a scale weigh-out whipped soap base into a bowl.
  3. Use a different bowl for the sugar and weigh it as well. Add 2 drops of colorant (any color you prefer) with 46 grams of fragrance oil. With the help of a spatula combine the sugar, colorant, and fragrance oil. Set the bowl aside.
  4. Take the handheld mixer to whip the whipped soap base into a more frosting-like texture. When you get the frosting-like texture turn off the mixture and add the sugar mix that was kept aside into the whipped soap base.
  5. Mix the ingredients first with a spatula and later with the hand-held mixer to evenly distribute the colorant.
  6. When it reaches the texture of whipped cream again turn off the mixer and for 5 minutes keep the bowl aside.
  7. After 5 minutes take the spoon to scoop the mixture into the airtight jar. Once you are done with all the steps your foaming sugar scrub is ready to be used.

  • Microwave double boiler or saucepan

  1. On a weighing scale weigh all the ingredients mentioned in the above quantity. Add sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax, and emulsifying wax olive in a bowl.
  2. Use a microwave, double boiler, or saucepan (whichever you prefer) to melt the oils, butter, and wax.
  3. Once everything cools down, add it to the mixer to form a creamy texture and blend it together.
  4. Now, essential oils and preservatives can be added to the mixture. User mixer for a few seconds to combine.
  5. After essential oils and preservatives are mixed, you can add sugar to the mix. Starting with a smaller quantity. Keep mixing as you are pouring the sugar into the mix.
  6. Your emulsified sugar scrub is ready to be transferred to the airtight glass jar.
