Skin Serum Base - How to Use?
Usage Instructions: This serum base can be used on its own or blended with natural carrier oils like argan oil, olive oil, or oil-based extracts. For customized results, mix 3–20% serum base with your preferred oils.
Optional Ingredients & Dosages: Vitamin E Oil: Add 0.2% to the total serum base for added nourishment.
Essential Oils/Fragrance Oils: Add 0.2% to 0.5% to the total serum base for fragrance or therapeutic benefits.
If you choose to incorporate actives or oils into the serum base, a preservative is required when using the base alone.
Important: Not all carrier oils, fragrance oils, essential oils, colors, or actives are compatible with the serum base. Always perform a stability test by creating a small batch first to ensure suitability.

Yes, you can add Beri Beri Aquafolium Extract to your ready-to-use Skin Serum Base, but keep the usage rate between 0.5% to 2%.

Q: Can I add vitamin C powder to this serum?
No, we would not recommend adding Vitamin C powder to it. Most Vitamin C powders are L-ascorbic acid, which is unstable in water and air, so mixing may reduce its effectiveness. Additionally, there is a high oxidation risk—the powder can turn yellow or brown if oxidized, so only very small fresh batches could be used safely, but overall, it is not advised in this base.

Q: Can i add 2% salicylic acid to it? Will it dissolve properly?
Salicylic acid won’t dissolve well in water-based serum. Use a solvent like propylene glycol for proper mixing.
