That is why; today I’ve come up with an interesting blog on how to make activated charcoal soap at home using natural ingredients, that too in just 5 steps. After making basic charcoal soap, you can do experiment by changing essential oil and various soap bases.

The main ingredients in this Soap DIY are Activated Charcoal powder, which is used to treat acne and blackhead problems. This magical powder removes dirt particles from skin pores, removes toxins, and gives you a fresh, clean look. If you have oily skin, then charcoal soap absorbs excess oil from the skin and remove chemical which sits on skin cell while doing day to day activities. Activated soap remove impurities more effectively than regular soap.
Homemade Activated charcoal soap act as an exfoliant which easily removes deal cell from the skin surface. To get radiant and smooth skin, start using this charcoal soap base. Even this soap base tighten your skin and helps in reducing facial wrinkles.

Charcoal soap making at home can be easy; just you need to follow this DIY activated charcoal soap making. We are making a recipe from scratch, so this will helps if you are a beginner in soap making. As we collected all soap base items, follow the steps properly:
Step 1: Cut Soap Base
- Take a 1 kg Melt and Pour Soap Base with Shea Butter and Glycerin. Now, cut this soap base into small cubes using a sharp knife. Smaller cubes melt faster than the soap block.
Step 2: Melt Soap Base
Take a clean bowl and put all the soap cubes in it. Now, start heating the mixture using a double boiler to melt the cubes, or even you can use a microwave for that. Be careful while handling the hot soap base.
Step 3: Add Activated Charcoal Powder in Soap Base
Add 50 grams of Activated Charcoal Powder to the melted soap and stir it continuously using a tablespoon. Charcoal Powder contains detoxifying properties which are great for your skin. You can find Activated Charcoal Powder on our website - Veda Oils.
Step 4: Add Peppermint Essential Oil for Fragrance
After adding charcoal, its time to give some fragrance to your homemade charcoal soap base. For that, we are adding Peppermint Essential Oil to hide the smell of charcoal if you don’t like it. Do not add the extra fragrance oil. You can also use other alternative fragrance oil, according to your choice, which you can find here.
Step 5: Pour the Charcoal Soap Mixture into Soap Molds
Now After that, pour this mixture activated charcoal mix into the soap mould carefully and cool for some time. While pouring the mixture, if bubbles form, then remove the bubble quickly before soap becomes hardened.
Step 6: Allow Homemade Soap to Harden
Take out the Soap Bars from the Soap Mould after it’s completely hardened, and you’re good to go. Your Activated Charcoal Soap is ready to use. You can take a refreshing bath with this soap and thank me later.
